I’ve been always angry and frustrated this past month, for personal reasons, and this disgusts and infuriates me even more. So, he comes up with gun control laws to ‘save’ lives and in the same beat proposes these atrocious ‘womyn equality’ laws which destroys even more live. These libs have no business talking about conservatives standing on the graves of innocent lives. Rot in hell, you sons and daughters of Antiochus!!!!! (I normally would never say this and most probably will regret it when my anger subsides but for now I am glad I am angry, for once in my life.)

This is a good article about the extremely short-sighted statement by Vatican Radio in support of Obama’s gun control initiatives. Good historical reference to the Cristero War. Makes you wonder how some of the liberal idiots in the Curia ever get a microphone. I love JP2, but his one seriously defective legacy was to leave us with a set of leadership that leans pacifist. His views were still orthodox, and his pacifist tendencies were a little understandable, given his experience in WW2, but he was always careful not to go full-retard on that. His successors have not been so careful, and they seem clueless about the historical and Biblical facts that they are disregarding at their peril. That is a disaster in these times, and I, for one, am gonna pray hard that they get their shit together.

Thanks for the NBC statement, BTW. This guy’s comment about all deaths being by the long gun is really unexplainable. For one thing, it’s now known to be absolutely false. And at the point where he was making the comment, he would have known that, right? He can tell the difference between .223 at a distance and a larger, pistol caliber at close range with powder burns all over those kids. Why would he make that statement?

Determining the Type of Gun Used in the Shooting
The type of gun used in the shooting can usually be determined by examining the gunshot wound. The shotgun, particularly the 12-gauge, is the most common and most deadly weapon in America today. Fired at close range, the shotgun is the most destructive of all small arms. Shotgun wounds can be characterized by massive tissue destruction and embedded wadding if the shot was within ten feet. By examining the wadding, one can determine the type of shot, gauge of gun, and possible evidence to identify the gun.
The handgun and .22 caliber rimfire weapons produce wound variations based on whether the gunshot was contact, near-contact, intermediate or distant. Generally speaking, handguns produce larger and more prominent tattoo patterns than rimfire weapons because of the use of flake powder. Rimfire weapons instead use ball powder, which produces extremely fine but faint tattooing. The extent of the injuries that both handguns and .22 caliber rimfire weapons inflict are usually confined to the tissues and organs directly in their path.
Wounds inflicted by center-fire rifles differ from those of the other weapons in that they can damage organs, bones, and tissue without even coming into contact with them. This type of gun has higher velocities and higher kinetic energies than the others, and therefore possesses the potential to produce extremely severe wounds. The organs that are directly hit by the bullets of these guns may partially or completely disintegrate, and the pressure is powerful enough to fracture bones and rupture vessels close to the wound. A gunshot wound from a centerfire rifle can cause tissue to eject not only from the exit wound but also from the entrance, and as a result it is not uncommon to find ejected tissue on both sides of the wounded body.
