Local news here in the metro area, channel 8, is actually covering (some) of the March for Life. Huh. More coverage then in the past by far usually it is just a road closures announcement.
I was surprised to hear National Public Radio not only cover the event, but do so in a reasonably fair way. They even called the demonstrators “pro-life,” rather than “anti-abortion,” which is the word they usually use.
OH wow! That scene at the top is JUST like my back yard!!!!
Well, I don’t have those trees or that lake….but it’s just like my back yard.

but other than that, it’s JUST like my back yard.

Uh – duh – Common Friggin’ Sense!
We know this isn’t about common sense, but it still amazes me that so many people accept these positions that just don’t make sense. When there are burglaries in an area, the police don’t tell the neighbors to leave garage doors and windows open. They advise everyone to make their house a more difficult “target” so that thieves will move on to a quicker/easier place to rob.
Cars kill. Has any organization put out statistics on vehicular deaths by car model? Like for instance, Mercedes, BMW, Lexus etc. All the high-end models elitists like to drive. Maybe those should be banned.

By now, Americans should have NO doubt what this jackdonkey and his merry band of miscreants are up to. If they are still confused, they are lost as Americans. If they are still argumentative or keep asking “…now why would our own pResident do such a thing…”…well, then…they are one of them.
It’s about control.
Time to harass the ever lovin’ comfort out of some very lazy representatives, congress, senators and governors. Call them twice a day. I do, and I make sure I talk to someone different every time. And then I start again the next day. Make them understand that their job is not safe, and that WE are THEIR boss.
They are there to GOVERN, no dictate over us. Help them erase that pre-concieved notion that they are there to TELL US how to live.

We had a liberal with a petition ring the bell yesterday. The topic was to increase the minimum wage. I told her I was against it since it would hurt a segment of job seekers. What I realized after the fact was this… it’s not about minimum wage at all. It’s about increasing the numbers for unemployment payout… both numbers of those without jobs and the amount of money they would receive from our tax dollars.
Bingo.
Hell Barn, I cant even get a minimum wage job. I have been told by 10 places I am overqualified.

Employers that reject you for being overqualified figure you won’t stay long enough to make it worth them training you. You need to dial down your interview skills and maybe delete some items from your resume. The government would tell you to go back to college and get more letters after your name. The professors would agree. Anything that takes the blame off oblamer’s economy.

Barn, Hell one place I dialed down my resume/application and in the interview told them I did “secretarial work”, not entirely untrue but far below communications/social media. and still got the “over qualified” speech. And was told, by the manager that by the way I carried myself and how well I spoke, I was omitting work details. He was amused when my reply was “so give me a manager position then”.
