G’ Morning, folks!
Hey Knight, answering your question from last night, I haven’t seen anything around here, but it’s a big state with lots of military reservations and bases, and there are always military helicopters and planes flying overhead. I’ve read about some of the other stuff in this article in other states, though. Good article. Thanks for posting last night.

Maybe a school prank? I had a history prof. who went to Univ. of London. He said rivaling schools would steal this guy once in a while.

What a lovely photo! Thanks for posting this today (we had 10 inches on snow yesterday, 7 inches more today). Where the heck is spring?
Spring is on vacation. It’s in Hawaii. Just ask GFC or Knight.
Snowing here. May get up to 16″. The pizza place won’t deliver. Cranked up the snow blower last night. I’m ready to go as long as we don’t lose power.
Take care Barn! The same too fer all you fellers who are entrenched in winter still.
Will do! No sporting clays or skeet tomorrow.
Oh yeah,… make sure you guys stay warm and drink lots of warm liquids. It’s easy to become dehydrated in the cold believe it or not.
Had to be careful when working outdoors. If you take a deep enough breath, you might drown!
Down here in Hawaii, the weather has been ok, with a few heavy tradewind rains this week. Yesterday, it rained so hard, I was wondering what the moisture to air ratio was. I was thinking somewhere around 90:1.
Hey Barn, I just got one small question that has been in my mind lately. What has the northeast area done to tick off Mother Nature so badly? Since about 2009, the weather has been strange in that area, I really wonder what happened that caused Mother Nature to get so angry at that particular part of the country.
Take care and stay safe.
It snowed much more when I was a kid. The hurricanes and tornadoes are a different story. To answer your question… maybe Mother Nature is a Christian gun owner.
I think I am a bit slow up the uptake. I have made comments on the picture of ManBearPig before, but it is just today that I noticed that the background is of money. I believe it has been there since before he sold his tv station, so I have to laugh at the foreshadowing that was in that picture. Little did we know that as much of a hypocrite that we knew he was, that was just the tip of the iceberg of hypocrisy for him..

“Obamacare and the DSM-5: Be Afraid; Be Very Afraid
…In the area of mental illness, given the administration’s totalitarian bent, this could mean an era of atrocities galore. Have you ever suffered from anxiety? Depression? Had “anger issues?” Have you ever been treated for drug addiction or alcoholism? Had trouble sleeping? Any of these and a host of others might be used as a pretext for one’s designation as a mental defective. One might suddenly discover that due to some benign neurosis or psychological episode, perhaps in their distant past, their constitutional rights have been nullified overnight.
Such individuals may be detained by the government for an indeterminate length of time, “assessed,” and designated as suffering with some form of mental illness. They might then find themselves barred from owning or possessing a firearm, or obtaining driver’s or pilots licensees. Perhaps they will not be allowed to serve in the military or law enforcement, to work in government service, schools, day care centers, hospitals or medical clinics. And forget ever surviving an employment background check that requires security clearance.
In the January 17, 2013 edition of Psychology Today, Toni Bernhard, a former law professor at University of California at Davis, penned Your Physical Illness May Now Be Labeled a Mental Disorder, which discusses the APA’s reclassification of a myriad of physical ailments as psychological disorders. It is a chilling insight into how this insidious process could work…”

A GREAT SPEECH by Dr. Benjamin Carson, a neurosurgeon, at the National Prayer Breakfast. I know it’s long, but it is definitely worth watching… especially when you see President Obama seated nearby listening.
Nice!!

“FDA chief says pharmacy oversight at ‘critical point’
The Food and Drug Administration has reached a “critical point” in its struggle to oversee specialty pharmacies that have been associated with mounting illnesses and deaths, the head of the agency said Friday.
FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg’s comments came in response to a Washington Post investigation that found that shoddy practices and unsanitary conditions at three large-scale specialty pharmacies have been tied to deaths and illnesses over the past decade. Those safety lapses occurred long before national attention focused on New England Compounding Center (NECC), the Massachusetts company whose tainted steroid shots were at the center of last fall’s deadly meningitis outbreak…” read more: http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/health-science/fda-chief-says-pharmacy-oversight-at-critical-point/2013/02/08/d93131b8-7228-11e2-a050-b83a7b35c4b5_story.html
