In the Fifth Week of Lent, the Church stressed the eternal priesthood of Christ, the High Priest Who never dies. Today, we are reminded in a reading from the Letter to the
Hebrews, we witness the other side also: Christ is also the eternal sacrifice. The New Covenant in Christ which totally replaces the Old Covenant. While the sacrifices of the Old Covenant had to be offered over and over and could not bring those who offered them to sanctity, Christ’s sacrifice is offered once for all, and only through Christ can we all reach perfection. Remember it was/is Christ who said “I Am the Light of the World. He who believes in Me shall have Life within Me”.
Hebrews 10:1-18
For the law having a shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of the things; by the selfsame sacrifices which they offer continually every year, can never make the comers thereunto perfect: For then they would have ceased to be offered: because the worshippers once cleansed should have no conscience of sin any longer: But in them there is made a commemoration of sins every year. For it is impossible that with the blood of oxen and goats sin should be taken away. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith: Sacrifice and oblation thou wouldest not: but a body thou hast fitted to me: Holocausts for sin did not please thee. Then said I: Behold I come: in the head of the book it is written of me: that I should do thy will, O God.
In saying before, Sacrifices, and oblations, and holocausts for sin thou wouldest not, neither are they pleasing to thee, which are offered according to the law. Then said I: Behold, I come to do thy will, O God: he taketh away the first, that he may establish that which followeth.
In the which will, we are sanctified by the oblation of the body of Jesus Christ once. And every priest indeed standeth daily ministering, and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this man offering one sacrifice for sins, for ever sitteth on the right hand of God, from henceforth expecting, until his enemies be made his footstool. For by one oblation he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
And the Holy Ghost also doth testify this to us. For after that he said: And this is the testament which I will make unto them after those days, saith the Lord. I will give my laws in their hearts, and on their minds will I write them: And their sins and iniquities I will remember no more. Now where there is a remission of these, there is no more an oblation for sin.

Well said. And as far as actions there are quite a few distinct actions that have taken place over many passed years that we Christians should be questioning and have the eyes to see. No different than this traitor in our white house’s actions. Ah but he gets voted in for a second term. It sickens my heart that so many are so blind with no eyes to see at all. The only reason for that can be because of sin which blinds us. Oh we “Hail Christ the King” today and go about our sinful ways tomorrow.

There are restrictions on assault weapons and any magazine that holds more than 10 rounds, and no Class 3/NFA weapons are allowed. The state has a Castle Doctrine law, but retreat is required outside the home. Hawaii has the lowest percentage of gun owners—6.7 percent—of all the states.”
Despite such hardships in trying to aquire a firearm here, firearm sales have jumped tremendously.

Perhaps this has a hand in our “lowest gun related deaths in the nation”. And I will say that those who do own firearms, usually hold more than several. Also, firarms legally purchased before 1994, are not registered and so far are not required to be registered. The anti gun crowd would like to think that the strict laws here are the reasons for the low gun related death rate. I like to think its beyond that. It’s because of our culture here. We are one of the happiest states in America. And because we have the lowest percentage of gun owners, it’s easy for the state to pass restrictive laws in the first place. But don’t let the “study” fool you. Those who do own firearms, usually own multiple firearms and are very supportive for the second ammendment. You do not want to mess with us. Because of us, we have shot down other excessive restrictions including bans recently, even though there ar not many of us. There are many firarms owned out here.
Ok, so we haven’t banned the AR platform rifles… yet! You cannot have fully automatic firearms, larger than 10 round capacity mags, and personal carry firearms (you cannot carry any firearms on you in public other than a shooting range and hunting land). All firearms must be registered. The lib progs here are still trying to ban AR’s though. Sorry about your place Barn.
