For you shooty people looking for the best lube…As you know, I tout Slipstream and Slipstream Styx (both the oils and the grease) as the BEST – only, in fact – lube to use on your weapons.

(I live in an area that is typicallyhumid all year round; and gets up to 95%+ relative humidity for long stretches in the Summer, so I use the Slipstream Styx. That is made with some kind of “super metal protecting” oil as the carrier with the nano-particles as the lube. IT WORKS!)
Hey Sol, have you tried the Slipstream grease? I’m still using Gunslick graphite lube on high wear areas. I’m not concerned about dirt sticking to the grease right now since I clean them up same day I use them.
Use the Slipstream grease on places like rails and channels. Anyplace you have relatively large areas of metal-to-metal contact (and lots of friction). Put it on with a Q-Tip (not in huge gobs, of course) and let it work in.
In the thread, people say that they use both the grease and oil, because the oil helps the grease spread better. I’m going to have to try that.
There are also a couple of items elsewhere on WTA about cleanup…and the consensus seems to: Don’t get all fanatical about it. Wipe it down…light coat of your favorite gun oil on the outside for rust prevention…bore snake down the tube = good to go.
I believe that you’ll find that the results justify the little bit of extra expense involved. (if that’s a factor)
The main thing that you’re doing with both the grease and the oil is getting the nano-particles in place so that they ‘bond’ with the metal to provide an almost “permanent lube” situation. And there is a place for both in your lube regimen.

-Protect the North American Man Boy Love Association Whose motto is “sex by eight or it is too late”
-Censor student led prayer at graduation
-Remove “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance
-Remove “In God We Trust” from our currency
True. With a name like “Progressive” you’d think it would be obvious, but they keep a pretty low profile about it. I’ve never been a fan of PAI or the Lewises. And have you seen their ads about the plug-in tracker that they give you a discount to use? They make it sound like such a fun idea to put a tracking device in your car that gives your insurance company real time data about you every minute of every day – how fast you’re driving, where you go, data about your car. Big Brother much?
As I understand it, the Lewises also own Fiji water; which used to be what I’d get if I needed a couple of bottles to carry along. IMO, it’s the best bottled water out there…but I’m not going to give money – knowingly – to communists/progressives.
I have a feeling that we are going to start hearing more about these businesses that are owned by progressive liberals that do not keep to real American ideals.
