“Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends”. This is what they may see as a “just a job”, but they chose to do this job to save others. They gave their lives so others may live. I thank them and their families for their sacrifice. I pray that they may rest in peace and their families find peace. May God bless them and their loved ones.

I heard this today. From Paul Harvey. 😦

“No changes have been made to the powertrain, though the Corvette Stingray’s Z51 Performance Package and sports exhaust have been added. That means a peak output of 460 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque are available from the car’s 6.2-liter V-8.”

I saw this bumper sticker on a van over the weekend:
“The American People Pretend to Be Free, Our Masters in Washington, D.C. Pretend to Agree”
Right beside that bumper sticker was another one: “Death to Tyrants”

I am seeing more and more Tea Party license plates (yes, there is a Tea Party DMV-approved license plate available in VA), anti-Obama bumper stickers showing up on cars in my neck of the woods, even in the liberal city where I work. Granted, there are still Obama bumper stickers, but not as many as there were 6 months ago. I’ve heard discontented grumblings from Obama supporters. I think they’re slowly seeing the light, but it’s too late. I have no hope for America anymore; the liberty-hating Commies have won.

    • You may be right about there being no hope, but I’ve reversed direction on that, myself. I had lost all hope for America after last November and had even taken steps to migrate the family to South America. We gave up on that because things are slowly developing that gave us hope. People are quietly resisting. It’s not advertised too openly, but there is a real undercurrent of grim determination. Even some of our leaders are showing some backbone (way too few – but some). I don’t see where it will go yet, but I think it was a mistake for us to assume that the Obama machine is unbeatable. Keep some faith, Sister! 🙂

      • freedom1781 says:

It’s getting really hard to keep the faith. Way too much going on here. If people aren’t afraid of this NSA thing, they should be. There’s much, much more to it than what everyone is reading about. “Old-school” is the way to go. Family members who laughed at me for being paranoid, aren’t laughing now. Oh and for the record, Snowden is no “hero.” He’s just a player in the Game. Just sayin’.

        • Knight4GFC says:

Player or not, I am happy to know about what he released. Like I said before, if for ill gains, then he is a traitor and deserves the full consequences of being one.

          • freedom1781 says:

I’m okay with the info he released regarding the spying on everyday Americans; people needed to know that. What is very troublesome, though, is the leaking of info regarding spying on our Allies via bugs and the NSA. Yes, every country spies on each other, but at this point with our current administration, NOBODY trusts the US. We have become a laughing stock and a paper tiger. We are in a dangerous spot. This NSA scandal has hurt our credibility. In the future, if we need help, there will be no country willing to help us. We are fuc23d and it is part of the game. Not good. Not good at all.

            • True. This made things worse, but every day that goes by with OBoyKing at the helm makes the world hate us more. For all kinds of reasons. The latest is Egypt blaming us for supporting Morsi, which is totally true and tragic. Don’t know what to do about that. We are the enemy as long as that Manchurian remains in the White Hut.

              • freedom1781 says:

He’ll still be a threat to liberty after he and his crew leave the Hut. He does want to be King of the World. I’m sure the U.N. will find a place for him.

            • Knight4GFC says:

              I agrees with you here.

        • True enough. Spill on your opinions about Snowden if you have time. I haven’t had the time to form an informed opinion. It seems to me he’s a misguided whistle blower who might be misdirecting attention toward things that are non-issues and away from the real abuses, but I don’t know.

    • Knight4GFC says:

“I have no hope for America anymore; the liberty-hating Commies have won”. Hmm… they may have and are winning the battle, but they haven’t won the war. There is still hope… always hope, as long as you, Freedom, and others like you, and I still have breath in our lungs. It’s just gonna be tough going that’s all. And if you need something to encourage and spur you on, then think of your family, think of your children, their future, think of Our Creator and how He was really the One who inspired our founding fathers to build the foundation of our country the way they did. And “as He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free”.

“The wicked thrive and grow like grass, and it often seems that evil ways do win. But the evil cannot win, for their victory is sin. And His enemies will run and scatter when the Lord comes in”. Yes, we will need a miracle, but miracles do and can happen. This is my hope.

      • That is what must be our hope, always. And if you look at history, miracles have always been integral to the hope of good people. That’s just the way things work. It’s only in hindsight that we forget that’s the way it works and take it for granted. IMO.

I’m wondering how many of those disgruntled oblamer voters are just laying low until they can gear up and cheer for Hitlery.

‘Last Chance’: Egyptian Military Gives Morsi 48-Hour Ultimatum to Make Peace With Protesters

This is going to get really ugly; I bet the MB can’t wait to unleash more pain on those protesters, courtesy of the Obama administration.

  5. This could be troublesome. US and Russia have agreed in the last few days to “exchange experts” and provide joint security for disasters and “mass events.” Not sure what this opens the door to – sounds harmless enough – but it seems a little suspicious.

Especially if you have copious amounts of alcohol and a federally backed wind/hurricane policy for the beach house. 😆

Snowden applies for asylum in Russia: immigration source

    Not surprised.

A word from our first President to those now in office.

  10. texan59 says:

Hey Marco, how’s that immigration thing working out for you? Dum-bass! 🙄
