Trevor Loudon Starting his “U.S. Congress Enemies” Tour in Colorado

trevyIdiot that I am, I did not realize that world famous anti-prog activist New Zealander Trevor Loudon was in my neighborhood LAST NIGHT, and I completely missed out on seeing him up close.  He was literally at a small venue no more than 7 miles from my house.  Crap.  He’s in Pueblo today, and I’m hoping to catch him in Colorado Springs on Sunday.

Mr. Loudon started his U.S. tour last Sunday in Colorado in order to promote his new book: The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the US Congress. He’ll be in the country through November.  Refer to his website for more details:

270x402book_shadowLoudon is also the author of Barack Obama and the Enemies Within, containing the following blurb about him and his work to expose the Great Usurper.:

Beginning in 1997, Trevor Loudon began exposing the history about those who advised, mentored, and operated behind the throne of the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama. From early childhood to the present day the President chose to keep his personal life a secret. Those who surround him fall into a wide category of radicals, Marxists, communists, Islamists and Americans. They have joined together in a coordinated effort to overthrow capitalism and the Republic of the United States of America in order to invoke Sharia Law. The end result: a loss of freedom.

He is on the radio with Peter Boyles, 710 KNUS this a.m. Peter promises to have him on again. Trevor is in Loveland tonight at a bookstore called 912? 18:30 hours.

    • I’m in a meeting and can’t listen, dangit. Thanks for the news, though.

    • Hey Annie, were you planning to attend Loudon’s talk tonight? Or any of his stops in coming days? If so, we’d really appreciate any info you could report back with. I’m trying to make one of them over the weekend, but probably won’t get the chance, and I’d like to know if he’s talking only about Congress and Washington politics or about other international economic stuff. It should be interesting stuff, regardless. Let us know if you hear anything good!

I have not been able to attend any of his talks this time around. I have been to them twice before. I have his first book and a few other handouts. He is a good speaker and he should get more attention after the Boyles show. I was not able to listen to all of the Boyles show as Peter had him on for two hours. He has podcasts and I will try to listen to the second hour. Think the show got contentious. Some Denver snob got critical because Trevor has only a gasp! high school education. Peter can be pushy too.LOL. Tried the, we should all hate George Bush because he “had an eight ball in his pocket and Cheney, Rumsfeld” on Trevor but I didn’t hear the ending. Boyles is good at what he does and many listen so I hope Trevor sells lots of books and has large crowds. He might swing back through the state before he goes back to New Zealand. And I don’t know what an eight ball is either apparently it is a way to use cocaine.

    • Seriously? Some idiot tried to shoot him down over his education? Trevor should have replied that he might be undereducated, but he can see what the entire international community can see about our moron pResident, and half the PhDs in America still think he’s the messiah. We’re a laughingstock.

Thanks for the update on Boyle’s show, Annie. Appreciate it! I’m still trying to make it to the appearance in Colorado Springs tomorrow, but we’ll see. Feel free to stick around and comment any time!

Listened to whole show and yes some uber-arrogant man called in to dump on Trevor. Trevor didn’t take it personally and responded with facts and Peter backed him up. Trevor is cool calm and has facts to back up his assertions. Somehow we have to wake the middle class.

    • If there’s any middle class left to wake. You’re absolutely right about the MC. I don’t know if you’re also located in the Colorado front range; if so maybe you’ll know what I mean. I always assumed that Denver County was the only bastion of liberalism and Obamanistas in the state, except maybe for parts of Pueblo and the San Luis valley. But during Obama’s first term, I was commuting all over the suburban areas, and I was shocked to see the volume of cars and SUVs with Obama/Biden stickers on them in Jefferson & Douglas counties and also north of town. I live in a fairly rural area and I still know 4 or 5 families that STILL support the rodeo clown. It’s just shocking. He clearly still has true believers within the middle class. If we can’t wake them up, we’re doomed.

Just found your reply above. I moved from the western slope (Carbondale) to Ft.Collins in late 2009. Just before Christmas. Shocked at the Obama stickers too. But the Western slope has Aspen which is ugly liberal, and I was just hammered at a staff meeting in 2004 for objecting to a board member calling GWB and his wife, Laura, all kinds of names. Then the woman began telling us to vote for John Kerry and extolling the virtues of Bill Clinton. She wanted to fire me on the spot and said so but she did not have that authority. I left later, after the election. Believe me, CO, where I have lived for thirty years has really gone over to the dark side.

        • Bet you used to ski Sunlight sometimes, huh? Or maybe just Aspen? It’s hard not to ski that mountain (Aspen) when it’s right next door, even if it IS a crazy liberal town. You’re right about the dark side. I used to think that the in-flux of people coming into the state from the Midwest would overpower the liberal idiots in Denver and make us a red state, but I think we’ve had far more Californians, and they tend to be mostly wealthy Democrats, apparently. So, that didn’t work out too well for us. Keep up the good fight up there in Ft. Collins.

Never skied Aspen and I don’t care if I ever do so. Sunlight, many, many times. Aspen highlands a bunch, Buttermilk a lot of times. But my favorite of all and the MT. with the mostest fun. and many happy hours was SNOWMASS.

            • Hmmm. That’s good to know. I thought I saw John Denver (before he crashed his plane in Monterey Bay) while filling up my pickup truck in Snowmass once. But never skiied there. Have many good memories teaching my wife to ski at Sunlight. Some of them were not so good for her! 😉

              • annieoakley says:

Now that is funny. My ex-husband tried to teach me how to ski at Snowmass and now we are ex’s. Not just because of sking of course. He is bad teacher. I did not allow him to teach our sons and they are great skiers. I still struggle. I really like your blog (if that is the correct term) Love the pictures too. You have such different places like the Japanese town in the caldera. I recognized your shot of Glenwood Canyon! I moved to Old Snowmass before the four lane was built. It was quite the controversy at the time.

              • Thanks for the good words, Annie! My wife and I actually did pretty well skiing together, and hope to more in the future, but kids in high school keep us from having much time right now. My fond memory of her was when I was watching our 3 little ones so she could take a lesson, and when we came back to check on her, we were just in time to see her careening – way too fast – down the insanely steep “beginners” slope at Sunlight and knock the legs out from under some poor snowboarder. When she apologized and skiied down to meet us, her pole was bent and she was all rumpled up and we had a good time teasing her about it. But I was impressed! It took a lot of courage to overcome her fears in order to ski that badly! 😀

I’m glad you enjoy the blog! Stick around and comment anytime on the daily open thread or any post, really. We need all the Coloradan bloggers we can get to even out the Hawaiians on the site. 😉 If you have some good local photos, consider sharing them!
