  1. Got Freedom?

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

    John 8:32

Jesus said to him, β€œI am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

    John 14:6

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

    2 Corinthians 3:17

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

    Galatians 5:1

Proclaim LIBERTY throughout all the Land
    unto all the Inhabitants thereof

Where will you find that quote?

    Two places:

    1) The Bible (Leviticus 25:10)

    2) The Liberty Bell (with direct reference to Leviticus 25:10 … β€œLev. XXV X”)

    Proclaim liberty.

  2. The New Republic equates concern for Christian minority in muslim country with hatred of muslims. In other news, up is down, blue is green, muslims can do no wrong.

I beg one of these sycophantic writers, especially the females to go live in one of those 3rd world rathole, sharia enforcin countries for about six months and then report back to us on their findings. Cut ’em off of their liquor and cigarettes, go through some nice genital mutilation procedures and maybe just a practice stoning or two for walking down the street by themselves without the beekeeper suit.

      A boy can dream can’t he? πŸ‘Ώ

  3. Pistol Pete says:

There is a mailbox on my paper route the guy made to look like a Bass popper with red mouth, frog finish and even had chrome treble hooks.I thought it was the coolest mailbox I ever saw…..until I saw this:

    Grunt:can you unencrypt his?

Juan McAmnesty did a townhall meeting last most fat gasbags, when he get challenged on his complicity in so many of Obama’s criminal acts he gets his tighty-whities in a wad and starts snapping at people. He should have been deferential and courteous…like he was when he ran against Chicago Jesus

This Syrian woman is pouring her heart out and this snow-capped horse’s ass looks and acts like he couldn’t care less.

  6. Investment Advisor Vitaliy Katsenelsen: “Finally last year, after I previewed Windows 8, we sold [Microsoft] and bought Oracle.”
Just a little tip: you might want to have your new PC downgraded to Windows 7, because W8 looks like it’s going to be another Vista nightmare that people pay to ignore. Or just go Apple like everybody else. What a shame that MicroSoft had such a powerful position in which to change the world and they squandered it in greed and mediocrity.

  7. Freedom and Zoph and Barn and other Mid-Atlantic east-coasters: Look up tonight at 11:27pm.

    • barnslayer says:

Thanks for the alert. Despite the weather service it’s 8:37PM and I don’t see any stars. I’ll check later for SSE direction clearing. Most likely have to have it on the computer.

      • barnslayer says:

I meant SSW. Tried. No go. I saw one star. Not a great area due to the trees and lights.

        • Sorry, Pal! You wins some, you lose some, I guess.

          • barnslayer says:

I’m less than 20 miles east of Manhattan. You’ve seen nighttime satellite images of the area. Between those lights and the trees I didn’t have high expectations anyway. About 15 years ago my daughter and I trespassed onto a golf course at about 2AM to see a Leonid shower. (Mrs Barnslayer valued a good night’s sleep over the event). We had a pretty good southern horizon view and clear skies. We got to see some of God’s pyrotechnics but it wasn’t spectacular. Even in that big open area the light was an issue. By contrast, the night sky over the Catskills summer camp I worked at and over the Island of St. Maarten (honeymoon) were alive with stars.

            • I see what you mean. Well, if we ever get you and Mrs. Barn to move your practice out here to the 51st state, Free Colorado (Sorry – jumping the gun a little there. 😳 ), the light of the stars through your window will keep you up at night. Probably similar to the Catskills, but much higher and dryer air, so brighter stars.

I saw it!! I saw it!! So cool. I just stepped outside and watched it from my deck. If this was scheduled for tomorrow, we would have drove over to the Eastern Shore to watch it.

  8. What A Hoot says:

I am not, in any way, suggesting with this link that we give up our guns and bacon and the masculinity on this blog. It is just so cool to anyone that has ever tried to quilt.

    • What A Hoot says:

Of course it comes nowhere near close to that beautiful piece of art of a mailbox above. I so want one!

    • barnslayer says:

Impressive but I think my voice just went up an octave.

      • What A Hoot says:

Go back and admire the mailbox upstream and then read a few of Sol’s articles and you will be talking JohnyCash low.

        • barnslayer says:

Thanks Hoot! Now I can sing along with Barry White.

        • I think Barn has enough testosterone in his trigger finger alone to keep up with Barry White. I’ve got a long way to go before I can match any of his gun knowledge or skeet shooting from what I hear.

Hoot, you go ahead and post what you want. And about quilting, I commented on one of CtH’s quilting posts last year over on PN. I told her that I was building a shed out of scrap, and the shelves looked like a crappy version of her quilts with all the pieced together plywood. So you see, there’s lots of overlap! πŸ™‚

When I was really, really down,BoB and the sweet ladies at her church made me a comforter.Other than BoB,none of them knew me,they just did it because.I enjoy curling up with it on chilly days. Its one of the most cherished things I own.

  9. Pistol Pete says:

I meant for that last comment to reply to Hoots link about the quilt.I must have forgotten to hit the reply button.I am an electronic retard.

  10. What A Hoot says:

Totally off any topic here but finally figured out a no-brainer. Anyone else hate webpages with black backgrounds? I do. I simply have a tough time reading them. Well, duh! I just realized if one right-button clicks and picks ‘select all’ the page font areas change to white background for the highlight shading! So simple. What took me so long?
