I don’t know how Treason could be more clear.
Obama waiving law that prevents US from arming Terrorists:

Disgusting. This is clear and blatant treason!

    • I thought that was just a conspiracy nut news item when I first heard about it. How could it come to that?? This guy is racking up the list of treason offenses, and it’s just going to make the trial easier when it comes.

  2. Happy Constitution Day! Perhaps some quotes are appropriate.

    • To anyone who thinks that our Constitution has no reference to God, ask them to whom “our Lord” refers…

Our Founders dated the signing of the Constitution in reference to two events:
      1) the birth of Jesus Christ (our Lord)
      2) the signing of the Declaration of Independence

      September 17, 1787 was:
      1) the one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seventh year of our Lord (Anno Domini), and
      2) the twelfth year of the Independence of the United States of America (1776 was the 1st, 1777 the 2nd, etc.)

  4. When are we going to get to hear from these Benghazi survivors? Congress is doing a lousy job of protecting them. Where are the heroic journalists from NPR (*snort!*) who stick their necks out to protect them or talk to them? Hey, I saw Pelican Brief. It’s not supposed to be this way. 😉

Woo-hoo! Constitution Day. I wonder if they’ll talk about it in DD’s class today. She’s only in 2nd grade so they may not.

McAuliffe to biz PAC: I’ll bring jobs by being super-good at drinking with people

Pardon my language. McAuliffe is an a**hole. He’s such a slime ball, a typical progressive and I’ll bet money that my fellow Virginians will be dumb enough to send him to the Governor’s mansion. He’s using War on Women©, “Cuccinelli is a climate change denier”, Tea Party “extremist”© memes in his commercials. A major progressive environmental PAC has been pumping money into his campaign. This morning I saw a dumb commercial from the NEA.

Our RINO Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling had his feelings hurt because Cuccinelli won the GOP nomination; it was supposed to go to him, he was promised it, dont’cha know. I just know that it was Bolling who let out the word about Gov. McDonnell’s accepting of money from Star Scientific and tied it to Cuccinelli. Bolling just endorsed McAuliffe over the weekend. The RINOs in the VA GOP will help McAuliffe get into office just because Cuccinelli is a Tea Party guy.

McAuliffe promises “jobs, jobs, jobs”. He’s such a f’in liar. I lived in Franklin, VA in the late 90s. The International Paper plant employed hundreds of people in the area and helped fuel the economy in the area. A couple of my family members worked there; one had worked there for over 30 years and was a union president by the time he retired. The area was devastated when IP closed down the plant. The mayor, our State and U.S. Senators and Reps, etc. started working overtime to find companies to take over the plant to maybe convert it into something else. McAuliffe made this big “promise” that he would bring a wood pellet business to occupy part of the IP plant. Three years later the people of Franklin are still waiting for him to fulfill his promise. He’s all talk. Ask anybody in Franklin about McAuliffe and you’ll get an earful.

Don’t get me started about GreenTech and his “promises” to Virginia about all the jobs he’d bring to the Commonwealth…

District insists kids like eating pumpkin parfaits, roasted brussel sprouts

This year my daughter is taking her lunch to school. They have raised the price so much that we can’t afford to pay for her lunch every day; we refuse to apply for the reduced lunch rate. Her school still serves sweets but they are a separate charge. They still serve chocolate milk, though it’s 1% or skim, no more whole milk, which ticks off DD’s pediatrician. The menu hasn’t changed too much, they’ve always served healthy food, but now the serving sizes are smaller. (I don’t feel like I’m getting my money’s worth.) I’ve asked DD if the kids eat all their food. Nope, she said, some of the kids throw away the veggies and fruit.

    • What A Hoot says:

Hot lunchees are way down at the local school. 60% down. They are all packing their lunches because they were hungry. The 40% remaining are only free-lunchers. The interesting thing is part of the brown-baggers are free-lunchers and guess what? They can afford, after all, to bring their own food. Anyway, in talking with the head lunch lady she says the menu starves the kids. They are only allowed 3 grams of protein! They may have as much fruit and vegetables as they want, which they don’t want, though. I asked about the carbs and she said they are to get it from the fruit! Almost all the fruit and veggies get thrown away because they were forced to go to single items like just a broccolli or just tomatoes for the day. Salads were always a big hit, but no more. A hungry kid will not throw away food. I know. Have been a hungry child and my own kids have been faced with eating what is there or they would go hungry because there was nothing else. So, if these 40% free-lunchers are throwing stuff away, they are not hungry enough to eat it. They are not hungry enough to need free lunch.

      • What A Hoot says:

Two years ago only two kids out of 900 packed a lunch.

      • What A Hoot says:

Oh, forgot to mention the lunch lady also said “Little Debbie” is in almost every lunch! And milk is not longer a part of the school’s lunch diet!

        • freedom1781 says:

DD gets a granola bar, pudding or jello cup, pb&j sandwich, cheese stick, fresh fruit or carrot sticks and a reduced-sugar juice box in her packed lunch. No one looks into the kids’ lunch boxes–yet. DD says sometimes she sees kids eating cookies from their packed lunches. The cafeteria also serves ice cream and cake, but those cost extra. Shhhh…don’t tell FLOTUS! 😀

          • What A Hoot says:

Funny story. I ate a huuuuuge packed lunch when in high school (every packed). Two sandwiches, 2-3 fruits, baggie full of cookies, money for a honey bun, nuts, etc.. I was hungry! My mom was getting concerned about me putting on too many pounds and suggested I try smaller lunches. No thank you, Mom. Well, she told me no boys would ask me out when they saw my lunch because they would think I would be too expensive of a dinner date. Clever Mom. So, I go to school with just one of everything. And…….came home crying I was so hungry and stated I did not care if I ever got asked out!

Ironically, when I met my husband he took me out every Friday for steak and potatoes and bread and veggies and when I finished mine, I finished his (except the salad as I did not like his choice of dressing). He loved watching me eat and be so happy about all the food. It made him happy. So there, Mom!

  11. DiFi says guns are making us crazy.

WASHINGTON (BHN) – Sen. Diane Feinstein (RTRD-Ca) wasted no time in capitalizing on Monday’s mass shooting at the Washington Navy Yard, by claiming guns are deliberately making many otherwise-normal individuals mentally unstable.

In a hurriedly-called press conference, the California Democrat said, “I ask you, why are these shooters always crazy? The reason is obvious, guns make people go insane – I know the only time I ever held one, I wet myself and attempted to shoot my nephew in the face. Thank God is was unloaded.”

Feinstein is well known for her work in reducing gun-related injuries and tirelessly promoting the killing of unborn children.
