Can’t wait to see what the new granddaughter will dress up as tonight. Maybe a cute little burrito.

This whole thing gets worser and worser. Internal estimates in 2010 show upwards of 90M people losing individual AND employer plan coverage. This goes way past screwed. Words escape me. πŸ‘Ώ

Grunt,if I were a wagering man,I’d bet that beautiful little angel already has you wrapped around her finger.

    • You would win that bet, Pete. πŸ˜€ Hey, great Halloween post over on PN! Pushing the envelope, as always. I don’t know where you got the witch’s wardrobe malfunction one. Penthouse? πŸ˜‰

      • Pistol Pete says:

No,just hours and hours of research.Just finished my 2nd post. All seasonal music videos and digitally altered pictures of some real-life monsters.

  5. ZurichMike says:

Going to All Saints Day Mass tomorrow morning at this cathedral:

The monks chant just before the 8:00 Mass. It’s transcendent to hear and experience.

    • That is so cool, ZMike. That monastery is the parent to our Swiss-German abbey and seminary in Indiana, St. Meinrad, near Evansville. Can’t tell you how many priests I know who went there. Not only is St. Meinrad’s a descendant, but it was the first descendant founded as a refuge when the Swiss monastery was under attack/suppression back in the day. Small world. Have a good morning mass there! Bet it’s beautiful!

      • ZurichMike says:

The Swiss monastery of Einsiedeln may have been under attack, but never did the Catholic populace suffer a military loss against any Protestant attacker. And the people of Einsiedeln are still, to this day, very, very proud of that!

I have my first Halloween fun post up at PN…this is cross-posted from there.Stop over and check it out,I think you’ll like it

  7. texan59 says:

Apparently Vlad the Impaler is havin’ some problems with his Olympic soiree’. πŸ™„

  8. Iowahawk yucks it up for Halloween. “If you like your candy, you can keep your candy.”
“I’ll trade you two Everlasting Transition Notices for a 404 Bar.”

  9. Harvey says:

Our eldest daughter received her health insurance notice this week (in Maryland). Her employer plan premiums are going up 35%. She didn’t vote for this, but many of her co-workers did and are now faced with reality and feeling the discontent.

  10. solaratov says:

It’s only a matter of time (and not much of that)……

Silver coins! Dimes. Quarters. Halves and Dollars.
If you buy it, though, take possession of it. NO depositories. They’re a scam in many/most instances. And, TELL NO ONE!!! NO ONE!!!

“The IMF “Taxing Times” report is another example of pompous ivory tower elitism at work.” –

I would disagree with the premise here. It is nothing but arrogant thievery on the part of the elite. Does anyone actually think they would loot their own piggy bank. πŸ‘Ώ πŸ‘Ώ

      • How do you mean? You mean they wouldn’t kill the goose? Sure, they wouldn’t mean to kill the goose. They never say they mean to kill an economy. Yet they do. Greece is nearly dead. They’ve actually been confiscating bank accounts over there. We owe a lot more then they do, right? They would do it here.

        • texan59 says:

They would never, ever admit that’s what they were going to do. We know that’s what would happen, but governments and their lapdogs can never admit to what the real motive is. Even if they know deep-down in their gut that they want everyone to be the “same”, which can never happen, they could not tell the truth. They didn’t when SS became the law of the land. They couldn’t call Medicare or Medicaid what it truly was, just as they couldn’t tell the truth about barrycare. They will nver actually kill the goose, but the goslings are indeed a different matter. The idiots out there will never understand the ramifications of killing the goose, and why they will always be fine. You and me, we’re scrooed. Too bad we can see it coming. πŸ‘Ώ

    • texan59 says:

Obviously your insouciant behavior is not near on par with the wisdom of our dear leader. It seems you have an insubordination problem that can only be cured with some time in a re-education facility to get your mind right. πŸ‘Ώ

  11. I saw this at Polination and thought I’d share this Pumpkin PI with you…

  12. texan59 says:

An update to yesterdays court decision on TX abortion legislation. Didn’t take long. The more I see what Dubya did, the more pizzed off I get. A nice man, but a piss-poor politician. πŸ™‚
