Time exposure of a Space Shuttle launch, taken back in the day when we launched such things.  I believe that’s the Banana River in the foreground.  KSC to the left.  CCAFS to the right.  Atlantic Ocean beyond.

Well, quite a day yesterday. barn now has a mayor worse than Nanny Bloomberg. Nany Bloomberg p*ssed away a couple mil tilting winmills in CO. Christie-Kreme says he’s a conservative, and apparently the press is anointing him the next Romney. VA elected a thief, and every large city on the east coast has elected a d mayor to continue running them into the ground. Wow. Just wow.

      I feel very discouraged, lately.

    • texan59 says:

I forgot one thing. The price of weed is going up out in Grunt’s neck of the woods too. Lotta folks gonna be walkin’ around all sad-faced. 🙂

    • One big win in Colorado for the Tea Party and education reformers was the defeat of Amendment 66. Also, in our county, Douglas County, education reformers soundly defeated the union. I’m happy to say I helped with that one. As a commenter said over on iotw:
“Not to mention that Bloomberg and Bill Gates donated a million dollars EACH to get it passed. Douglas county school board was another big win for Conservatives–they are reforming the schools there and the Union/liberals/teachers are fighting tooth and nail to stop it but they lost! Go back to California fucking liberals before a mountain lion gets ya.”

Congrats on the good news. I only wish some of the interlopers had spent/wasted a bit more of their money. Glad to see the locals taking back the schools as well. As for the hollywood/CA crowd, ya need to tell them where the nature trails are and maybe they just won’t make it back. 😉

        • Thanks, but the liberals around here don’t hike nature trails, unless they’re in City Park. A lot of them go to the Denver Zoo, though. Every once in a while, one falls into the polar bear exhibit, but it’s not very often. 😉

“………Tea Party Reeling” – Front page on MSN homepage. Didn’t take long. 👿

    • Wow. Even among liberals the guy is a used car salesman.

    • freedom1781 says:

The guy is such an effin slimeball. I’m so angry at those idiot voters who voted for him. I…I…can’t even put into words how pissed off I am. I haven’t seen any of the election results from Tuesday night; I can’t bring myself to look at them. I haven’t even tuned in to the local news or even listened to talk radio. I avoid the newsroom chatter. I have to disconnect myself from the political bullshit for awhile. Then, I’m regrouping.

Cuccinelli should have hired me to help with his advertising. You have to understand the enemy in order to defeat the enemy. The GOP establishment in VA will regret what they did. There are A LOT of pissed of conservatives here and we’re gonna take this Commonwealth back from the progressives on both sides. It might take awhile but we are gonna do it.

    • What the hell was that?

Good thing this poor guy didn’t look like a 13-year-old with a plastic airsoft gun, or he would have been shot at least 3 more times. 👿

Oh, and did you notice that there were 5 shots? Four hit the man; another went astray in a heavily populated area. It was a miracle that 2 or 3 bystanders weren’t hit. But at least they were protected from this dangerous street whittler, right?

  5. Man, I thought little of this election yesterday, but today, I think I’m even more shell-shocked than I was last November. How did THIS happen?

America’s first OPENLY MARXIST big city mayor.

  6. Tragedy in Marylandistan. Man shoots home invader at 2am. Because it turns out to be the man who courted his wife while he was in Korea, and also because of recently enacted gun laws in MD, he’s charged with murder. Bizarre case.

Good commentary from Big Fur Hat:

  7. Looking for who’s at fault in the VA Gubby debacle? The National GOP. They are becoming conservatives’ worst enemy.

    • texan59 says:

Hopefully they will get a judge who might suggest, after they are forced to pay millions to these folks that they might just want to get another dog before they bankrupt the entire State of NM.

  8. texan59 says:

You have to scroll down a bit in the article to hit the punchline, but this is one reason why I can’t subject myself to these show-pony exhibitions.

  9. Here’s a dangerous idea that would improve the world: Subject Dan Savage to a very, very late-term abortion.

  10. texan59 says:

The real Abortion Barbie. Her is a little thin-skinned. 😆

  11. texan59 says:

Since I refuse to watch folks pat themselves on the back and give each other trophies, I missed this tonight. It appears that some in the country music genre were making fun of our POtuS. 😆

The explanation of the electrical fireball in the video you posted some days ago Grunt.
