I don’t watch television, but get the sense that the media did not go into a huge flap over the LAX shooting. Is this correct, and if so, any theories as to why they passed up this opportunity?

Speaking of epic stuff: 132 countries walk out of UN climate talks. I think it’s ’cause they’re not getting enough free stuff.

Dang! We missed it! Yesterday was UN World Toilet Day. From Diogenes.

    • GruntOfMonteCristo says:

      Apparently not.
“On Larry King Live, Brown predicted she would die at the age of 88, but she died at age 77.”

Sometimes I can’t help myself. Am I in deep caca? 😆

        • GruntOfMonteCristo says:

Hmmm. [holding index fingers to temples] An image is forming… I see a very violent and humiliating death in your near future. Alcohol will be involved. Very messy. But it’s not you. Dang… I smell bacon. Do you raise pigs there at the Rancho Gordito? I think one of them is going to piggy heaven soon. And it’s going to be yummy. 😀

          • texan59 says:

😆 No porky’s yet. Probably gonna start with Foghorn Leghorn shortly. Is there such a thing as chicken bacon? Gotta fix the fence first. 😉

  8. Knight4GFC says:

“When the CIA personnel were asked for their reaction to the administration’s initial explanation that an anti-Islam video and a demonstration gone awry were to blame for the attack, Fox News is told they were seething with anger because everything on the ground — from their perspective — showed it was a premeditated attack.”

While this is certainly unfortunate, what in the world is someone doing in North Korea in the first place. This is like those idiots that went hiking through Iran a couple years ago.

“The report, which relied on unnamed senior Israeli officials, said the US team to the secret talks was led by Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett. Her primary interlocutor, the report said, was the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi. The talks have been taking place in various Gulf states”.

I don’t much care what they do at this point. Nothing will come of it. It will get no press on any network the lo-fo’s frequent, and even if Congress finds a smoking gun, does anyone think Eric Holder will do anything about it. I’m about ready to go bear hunting after slathering myself in a 55-gallon drum of honey and taking him on with a stick.

  13. Knight4GFC says:

“Over the past three years, it is unprecedented for the number of four-star generals to be relieved of duty, and not necessarily relieved for cause,” Boykin said. “I believe there is a purging of the military. The problem is worse than we have ever seen.”

    • GruntOfMonteCristo says:

These “for the purpose of” laws crack me up. Like we really want LEOs empowered to read people’s minds and arrest them for what they “intend” to do. Our lawmakers really do suck. And the war on drugs is surely a good excuse to take aways all our freedoms, right? It’s worth it to wreck hundreds of lives to ensure that some guy in Athens, OH doesn’t get pot illegally.
