  1. Pistol Pete says:

Two Philly Teens in Burqas Try to Rob Local Gun Store – Fail Miserably
Thought you might get a kick out of this:
Two Sunburned Swedes, ages 15 and 17 put on Muslim Burkas and attempt to ROB A GUN STORE!
    Did you get that?
The owner openly carries a .45 on his hip and they pull out a chrome-plated sissy pistol and hold it sideways(a quaint gangsta custom).Owner was not impressed.
    Enjoy:

    What’s the deal, Al?

Soooo, it’s ok to buy solar power from the state and eat what they tell you to, but if you cut out the middleman, it’s apparently a big problem. πŸ‘Ώ

    Ouch.

      1) Why did they have to redesign what Eliphas Levi already did? I mean, as far as renderings of Baphomet go, theirs is pretty crappy (What’s with the clothing? I mean, if you want Baphomet, don’t get all modest on us). And no “Solve et Coagula?” These Satanists clearly don’t even have the most surface knowledge of this figure. . . (That said, I’ve yet to meet a Satanists with anything resembling an actual intellect. They tend to substitute arrogance and obnoxiousness for brains.)

      2) I’m rather tolerant when it comes to religious stuff, but this is . . grenade worthy. I get the point they claim to be trying to make. . . but all this does is annoy everyone else. The 10 Commandments are Law-things, coming from the root culture of this nation: Judeo-Christianity. Yes, the 10 Commandments have religious significance, but so do a lot of things. Perhaps, if they want to memorialize the spirit of rebellion and independence, they should have gone for Prometheus.

      3) Why do people gotta pull crap like this? Do they have any idea how . . . pathetic they come across? Like whining children wanting attention . . .

Do they not understand the math behind (barely) attaining fringe status?

      • In a sense, though, I encourage them in their demands if it wakes people up to the need to establish an actual definition to what “Freedom of Religion” really means. We currently de facto exclude Nazis and Satanists from “acceptable” status… kinda. Maybe we should make it official. And I wouldn’t mind seeing Islam excluded, as well, though that probably makes me a radical.

BTW, welcome and thanks for commenting, rosalindj! For those who don’t know her, she’s a regular over at iOTW, and she drops in every once in a while. Her nom de guerre refers to a character in a Michener novel, Chesapeake: Rosalind Janney. And I think she’s a resident of the great state of Marylandistan. Right, Ros? πŸ˜€ Our resident Marylander is ZMalfoy, who hails from Silver Spring. Freedom1781 is from farther south, but she’s fond of the Eastern Shores, where I think you spent a lot of time in years past? Freedom1781 helps me keep tabs on the rocket launches out of Wallops, since she can see them from her house. The reason I care is that some of those rockets are missions out of NASA-Langley, where I work. You had asked in email if that was the “spook” Langley, and it’s not. People refer to the CIA HQ across the river from WDC as “Langley” and I’ve never known quite why. The Langley where I work is the center next to Langley Air Force Base on the southern Chesapeake which was actually the location of the Mercury space program before LBJ managed to move the manned space program to Houston so it could be named after him. πŸ˜‰

“White Privilege” for the lo-fo voter…in cartoon format:

    Seriously. Now.

    • And if I’m not convinced by this and I think they’re full of shit, that makes me racist. I’m getting it now. πŸ‘Ώ

    • zmalfoy says:

Ugh! What abunch of whining loosers. . .. !

      • I really do get the whole “privilege” part. It’s honestly true that wherever you go, there are haves and have-nots. In this country, it’s mostly a matter of money and family, just as it mostly is anywhere, although there are places where it’s strongly tied to race.

But it’s NOT here in the USA. Not any longer. As a descendant of poor immigrant whites with absolutely no money anywhere in the family tree, I will dispute their idiot thesis ’til I’m blue in the face. (heh.)

And I find the constant insistence on calling it WHITE privilege insulting and racist!

    • Coyote says:

Translated: “You gots it, I don’t. Gimmee!”

After this era has passed, will we EVER trust anyone who says, “I’ve got your back” when they’ve held out for their palm for a handout?

      I. Won’t.

Hey Barn, what’s your take on this? I think this tragedy should never have happened in the first place. What do you think would help prevent these situations?
