Chart of Overall Economic Freedom Rankings by Country, from the Heritage Foundation.
According to the 2014 Index of Economic Freedom, published by the Heritage Foundation, the USA failed to make it into the top 10 countries again. Those top 10 countries were:
1. Hong Kong, 2. Singapore, 3. Australia, 4. Switzerland, 5. New Zealand,
6. Canada, 7. Chile, 8. Mauritius, 9. Ireland, 10. Denmark.
The U.S. was ranked #12, below Estonia. Since Zimbabwe is #176, and we seem to be trying to be like Zimbabwe, we still have a ways yet to fall, but it should be noted that one of the countries that beat us, Mauritius, is not very far, geographically, from Zimbabwe. Hat tip: The Blaze.
