My neck-of-the-woods is supposed to get 2 to 5 inches of snow today. (I’ll believe it when I see it.) People are so in full-blown panic mode that you’d think it’s the snowpocalypse or something. 🙄 VDOT has pretreated the roads already. It’s supposed to rain before it snows… I don’t understand the idiots who work for VDOT.

    • It’s only money, Freedom. That MagChloride costs about a buck and a half a gallon, and they just pissed a couple million into the rivers for nothing. Must be McAwful who made that decision. He’s just scared because God is punishing VA for electing him. 😀

Heheh! I just got this a few hours ago:
“Due to the approach of the winter storm, NASA Langley will close at 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 21. Employees who live farther west and north of the Center should consider leaving earlier.
Employees will not be allowed on Center unless their name is on a pre-approved list of essential personnel.”

Full-blown panic over a predicted 2-5 inches of snow. Wisconsoners are still drying their clothes outside in weather like that. Right, Bob? 🙂

The idiots on t.v. last night kept saying that by 10 a.m. we’d have rain and by 3 p.m. we were going to see snow start to fall. It hasn’t started to rain yet. And by looking at the current radar, all of this stuff will just barely clip us. Someone posted to our live weather blog that it was snowing heavy in Charlottesville and in Richmond. I just checked the traffic cams in those areas, nothing significant showing up, just a little snow on the grass. Such hype!!

      • Hummm….I wonder if this is Hawaii New Snow Now or ??? 🙂

McAuliffe IMMEDIATELY faces patronage controversy after assuming office

It’s going to be fun pointing out everyday all of McAuliffe’s hypocrisies.

    Taking a cue from Obama…

McAuliffe: If this bipartisan commission can’t decide on Medicaid expansion soon, just give me executive authority

Hey Terry, there are a lot of Blue Dog Dems in the Senate who will stand with the Repubs in their opposition to your overreach. I don’t think you realize that, but you will soon.

  4. Some good recent stuff from
Samantha Power once emailed the Pentagon several GPS coordinates to spots in Libya that her “friends” in NGOs wanted hit and demanded they strike, no questions asked. They ignored her request, but this is who’s in charge of this country, folks.
Leftist Hollywood criticism of Lone Survivor:

    • Coyote says:

She is another one….COMPLETELY off the rails.

      • She’s cute. I’ll give her that. But otherwise, the woman is a complete mess. Just a total headcase. She served her ex-husband divorce papers the day after he finished paying off her student loans. She left her infant kids to go to law school 1300 miles away at Harvard. Chronic liar – under oath. Sued a newspaper repeatedly for causing her “mental health” issues after they mildly criticized her. I’m betting being married to this one was no picnic.

You all probably know about this but I thought I’d post it anyway.

Wish I was eligible for that subsidy that Boehner and Reid made sure to give themselves. I could almost afford coverage then. Sheesh. Thanks for taking a stand Louie.

Former VA Gov. Bob McDonnell, first lady indicted on multiple counts

*sigh* Oh, Bob, if you’d only declared to be a Democrat halfway through your term, the media would have cared less about this scandal.

Hey, Grunt! The snowpocalypse has arrived. So far, I’ve counted…6 snowflakes!

  9. What do you think of these HK sup-systems that were shown at SHOT?

    • solaratov says:

They look like fun. A little pricey, though.

What the hey! When I hit the Powerball, I guess I’ll pick up a couple for the collection. 😉

Heart of a Shepherd by Rosanne Parry – On a ranch in eastern Oregon while the father is deployed to Iraq

    Dear Friends,

Next Thursday I am going head-to-head with Bill Ayers on the campus of Darmouth, my alma mater, on the topic “What’s So Great About America?”

You and I both know that there are many things that make America exceptionalism, but progressives like Ayers don’t like to admit it. In fact, if they had their way, American exceptional would be reduced to the point where we are just another small country in a world with no American influence. Next Thursday, I hope to set the record straight: America affords opportunities that are unmatched by every other country on the planet.

I hope you’ll tune in to see the action. I’ve set up a free livestream on my website just for my fans, and it’s my hope that we can have as much energy and excitement about American exceptionalism online as we will in the auditorium at Darmouth next week. You can watch live right here, and we’ll send you out a reminder to tune in next Thursday.

In the meantime, you can forward this email to all of your friends so they can sign up to get a reminder to watch next Thursday too. All they have to do is click here. You can also help me out by tweeting about the upcoming debate!

    Dinesh D’Souza

P.S. Have you seen my co-producer’s response to Michael Moore’s tweet about me? Moore suggested that I should be investigated by the Secret Service because of an anti-Obama tweet.

    • ********** 🙂

XThanks for reading! LIKE my Facebook Page for updates on new content from
riginally posted on TheBlaze. By Gerald Molen.

Just when I thought his behavior couldn’t be any stranger, I recently learned that far left zealot Michael Moore Tweeted out a request that the Secret Service investigate my writer/director Dinesh D’Souza for threatening the life of the President of the United States. Evidently Mr. Moore thinks referring to the President as “Trayvon Martin in the White House” is a crime.

I’m afraid that in the warped world in which Mr. Moore lives, dissent is only allowed for those who share his ideology.

Mr. D’Souza did in fact make such a statement in a Tweet that he immediately took down out of respect for Mr. Martin’s lovely mother, a deeply Christian woman who has acquitted herself with grace during her difficult time in the public sphere. But Moore’s over-the-top reaction once again shows us what liberals truly believe in their hearts about free speech and the power of the state to suppress it.

Actually, I was a bit surprised to hear that Mr. Moore had surfaced publicly again after I raised questions about the appropriateness of his serving on the documentary board of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a position which gave him the power of helping to determine which films might be eligible for an Oscar nomination. Thankfully, the Academy recognized the mistake and rectified it, removing him from his post last fall, a move which I was grateful for and which might restore some semblance of balance to the nominating process. Now Mr. Moore is seeking further recognition doing what he does best: fomenting hatred in the media.

But it’s good to take opportunities like this to remind ourselves from time to time that this is still America, and to remember that men like D’Souza and Moore retain their constitutional rights to say what they want without fear of recrimination. Unlike Mr. Moore, both Dinesh and I pride ourselves on supporting all Americans and their right to speak out without fear of visits from the Secret Service.

I don’t Tweet, but I do write and here is my response to Mr. Moore:

We were proud that the American people made our last film “2016: Obama’s America“ the second most popular political documentary in the history of cinema, after your “movie” “Fahrenheit 911.” But we’re also looking forward to having the silent majority in this country come back to the box office on the 4th of July and lift our next movie “America“ to even greater heights, and who knows, maybe we’ll give your “film” a run for its money.

Unlike your “films” which are really propaganda pieces which give comfort to our enemies and seek to remind Americans about all that is wrong with their country, “America” will be a stirring reminder to all Americans, right, center and left, of what is good about America, and what we must do moving forward to be a great nation once again. As Dinesh says in the film, “to love our country, our country ought to be lovely.”

      This will be our quest.

See you at the box office.

    • This should be good, GFC. Thanks!
