    Happy Birthday GFC!!!!!

    • Thank you Barn! It’s an honor to be part of the family here! Wish there were more hours in the day!

      • Nice cake! Happy birthday, GFC! Glad it’s on a Sunday so you don’t have to work toooo hard. Aloha!

Some chocolate cake. Happy birthday. πŸ™‚

      • Happy Birthday GFC!!!
Thank you for being a man of God, a man of honor.
It is a privilege to know you!

        • Thank you RP but it is I who is honored to have likeminded friends who Love God and Desire the TRUTH! Unlike other places Truth we know is truly a Gift from above that we have amongst ourselves. It is precious to us and we can certainly lose that “Pearl of Great Price” gift if we don’t cherish it, nurture it and protect it above all else in our lives. For (regardless what the left believes) without our foundation from above we are no different than anyone else! It is simply amazing when you think about the Gift that Christ brought into this world (the left will never possess) that has culminated in the Foundation of the greatest Country the world has ever known, USA! This Gift of HOPE spread like a wildfire thoughout the Nations opening the door for man to even contemplate what freedom was, is and continues to be about. Hope gives us this Freedom both temporal and spiritual. IMHO ultimately the two will always be combined but yet seperate enough to allow others to have their “freedom of choice”. It makes US stronger and wiser to carry our fellow man through the darkness all the while keeping ourselves free. Free from the darkness that sin liberates within US.
So, my brother, I am the one honored to be a part of your life!

The New Ammunition That Has Gun Owners Drooling

    • Knight4GFC says:

I would imagine that those rounds would empower smaller caliber firearms to do greater and irreversible harm.

      • solaratov says:

Wouldn’t touch it with a ten-foot pole! Really.

It’s only 96 grains; and that gets split into eight or nine parts. No matter what buzz-words they use, there’s no kinetic energy there to impart to the ‘target’. Yes, it’ll make a mess…and probably do the job at very close range — but then you have the problem of a zealous prosecuting attorney finding that you are using “RIP” bullets for “defense”. And what if he does some research and comes up with those videos?

The only reason that you might want some of those is to have a sample in your cartridge collection…as an oddity.

Nobody – except Bubba or Cletus – is “drooling” over that stuff. They’re staying as far away from it as they can…because they know better. That stuff is for the uneducated gun owners who don’t bother to find out what is best for their gun and/or situation.
Don’t be that guy! Avoid that stuff like the plague.

Well said Sol, and looks like great advice! They don’t seem to be in a hurry to print ballistics charts to back up their claims either. Penetration…. at what distance?

          Knight… get a .45 pistol. The ammo won’t matter.

        • Knight4GFC says:

Thanks Sol! As Barn said, “well said”. I came across this “stuff” a couple of days ago. I am personally not “into” this kind of “stuff” but, I figure I would run this “new junk” by you guys. I learn in the process. Again, thanks.

And Barn, thanks for the .45 recommendation. In the way of pistols, I am leaning towards a .45 or a .357 mag… for the capability to practice on cheap .38 special rounds. I think you can do that… πŸ™‚

          • barnslayer says:

Yes Knight. My wife has a .357 but uses .38 wadcutters for the bulk of her practice. It’s a revolver so anything will work.
The .45 auto will do the job better IMHO
Don’t overlook buying a quality (and excellent condition) used pistol.

            • Knight4GFC says:

Absolutely. I am looking for the “right buy” when it comes for a used pistol. Out here in Hawaii, everything is expensive, even used ones. I will probably not purchase a new pistol as it is out of my range.

  6. Is there any limit to the lies they will tell to get Hillary elected? No. There’s no limit.

    • texan59 says:

The good news I see here is that she won’t be perpetuating this drivel to future generations.

    • zmalfoy says:

I couldn’t even get through the article. . . nearly threw my laptop across the room. What a fucking retard. More and more studies are showing how desperately important both parents are for not just children, but the whole of society. Out country is literally falling apart, in no small part due to the lack of parents and parenting happening.

This is the whining screed of a person so insecure with her life choices, that she is lashing out in efforts to justify what she has chosen. She can’t bear the thought that the woman in the “mom-jeans”, the minivan, with hand-print-shaped jam stains and short, practical hair is every bit as important and hardworking as she is–if not more. She can’t admit that being a parent is a 24/7/365 job, unpaid, always on call, always cleaning up bodily fluids, instituting discipline on wiggly little beings that naturally need to “Test” the lines, dealing with moody teenagers and know-it-all college kids. And that all these unfashionable troubles eventually mean more to the world than any number of the ultimately meaningless hours that she’ll work. She’ll work, yes, and maybe make a difference in the lives of some people, and hopefully a good one. She’ll have weekends off, vacations in Cabo, and she’ll retire. And when she does retire, she’ll be a bitter, lonely hag. No one will care for her, no one will visit her. What few friends she has will have visits from kids and grandkids, but she’ll be stuck alone in her chair by the window. All those hours she worked, solely for herself.

      What a foolish, foolish woman.

      • In so many ways, I agree. One of the things that just seemed so ludicrous to me was when she said “men don’t care about managing a household.” Really? Maybe in her lower Manhattan social circle. What about in families with farming or ranching or small business backgrounds? I’ve got office work due at a meeting Monday morning, but I’ve just spent all weekend running wiring and doing maintenance and working with my wife to keep the household running. Why? Because it’s more important than doing rocket science. Amy has a rich fantasy life about what’s really important.

      • Knight4GFC says:

You said it! This country is in MAJOR PART failing because of the broken family order. You can thank Femprogs like her for that.

Apparently Schieffer(sp) didn’t much care for where the Cruz missile was going with this. Cut out of Face the Nation this morning.
