  1. Should we be concerned about Barack’s “2014 Election Theft Committee?” Because that’s what this is. It’s not about voter ID or any other legitimate way to prevent voter fraud. It’s about “access to the polls” for dead people and illegals and people who have already voter 28 times.

This point cannot me made enough– it’s the culture that needs changing. Politics is downstream of culture.

Mohammed Abbas was a terrorist and founder of the Palestinian Liberation Front.

However, let us be clear, the Mohammed Abbas mentioned here may be a different person. He could be a friend of Aguilar’s.

Aiman Abdelmouti appears to be a local to Silver Spring Maryland, a student at a University in that area.

I don’t konw who those other people are.

I don’t know that much about firearms, but these things look serious

Here is a bit more discussion of the “RIP” ammo – and some others.

One of the best ways to choose ammo for personal defense/carry weapons is to find out what your local police/SWAT use. That way, an over-zealous prosecutor cannot turn your ammo choice into a liability for you if you ever have to use it. Or, go with what the FBI, Secret Service, US Marshalls, whatever, use.
Stay away from “gimmicks” and “super-bullets”.

      It’s worth your life.

I must admit to owning a few rounds of Glaser and Magsafe. I might as well use it at the range. Chances are I’m reaching for a 12 gauge in the middle of the night.
I remember you mentioned Barnes all copper bullets a while back. Is that a totally different animal?

        • Hope you don’t mind if I jump in here about the all-copper bullets. These G2s just happen to be all-copper. It’s just their manufacturing decision. I think it’s mostly been done for ease-of-manufacture in this case, but also so they can market it as a “green” bullet. I don’t think there’s any connection between this and the Barnes copper bullet other than the fact that they made a similar decision on going lead-free. We’ll probably be seeing more of that now that the Hurculaneum plant is shutting down.

But if you’re asking about whether the Barnes bullets have any of the drawbacks associated with these RIP rounds? I don’t think so, except for the small disadvantage of being slightly less weighty than their copper-jacketed, lead counterparts. It’s my understanding that all-copper bullets, in general, are every bit as good as lead bullets, just a bit more expensive. Anybody else know for sure?

Sol– thanks for that link. Been sharing it on facebook, as well as paraphrases of your statements. I’ve got a fair number of gun-happy friends who only see “Teh shiney!” and don’t stop to work out any of the math. So glad you’re around to pull us away from the shiny distractions and keep us grounded!

Sound advice as usual! Thanks Sol.

  6. Big surprise. Hillary hasn’t driven a car since certain alcohol-related incidents around 1996. What happened in 1996 that would cause her to drink?

As if Washington doesn’t already do enough to piss me off. Here’s an update on the Farm Bill boondoggle. 👿

    • You’re right! I just thought this was a cool article, but I didn’t make the Iowahawk connection. But he definitely seems to be in the rockabilly mold. At least as far as the old hot rods and Americana goes. The one picture he showed of his wife one time, she was doing the 1950s look pretty well.

      • texan59 says:

I’m “friends” with him on FB, and he seems to have the haircut, glasses and affinity for the hot rods much as you mention. I don’t know for a fact, but he certainly appears to follow that path.

crap. I’ve dressed in levi 501s, black leather engineer’s boots and white t-shirts for years because it’s easy and I don’t have to figure out what to wear in the morning. It’s a simple solution. I’ve greased my hair back for just as long because it won’t stay put otherwise. …and now it’s “cool”….because some trendy yuppies want to play “Leave it to Beaver”.

  9. I love the commentary edited over this ridiculous MSNBC segment. Is Sarah Silverman too stupid to breathe? Or just evil?

  10. Happened to just read this bit about George Harrison songs being used to torture prisoners in Pinochet’s Chile.
That surprises me. Why George? Maybe because Paul and Linda hadn’t recorded “Simply having a wonderful Christmas time” yet? Surely there was some Plastic Ono Band stuff out there they could have used? Play any of that crap in my headphones and I might gnaw through one of my own arteries just to make it stop. Did anybody see Yoko Ono dancing at the Grammies? That’s enough to make you want to go on a hunger strike.
