Wearing ski helmets and wielding clubs, protestors took control of the presidential complex in Kiev earlier today after President Viktor F. Yanukovych fled the city, declaring the event a “violent coup.” Meanwhile, opposition leaders (below) celebrated as Parliament voted to remove Yanukovych from office.
