Zurich Mike…….. I need info for a friend who is doing a business relocation to Geneva starting this August. She’s looking for an apartment rental or sublet. Thanks in advance.

  2. Originally put over on the Texas post, by mistake. Doesn’t get much more outrageous than this. State Dept spokes-child tells us the troops lie about what’s really going on in the trenches.

    Barnslayer Responds:
I’ve been reading where the WH is saying the soldiers from his unit are “swift boating” him. Odd how the WH tried to gag them all for the past 5 years on it.
BTW, the swift boat guys were correct.

This “administration” is totally delusional to think we were going to rejoice over this POS getting released.
And his muzzie dad addressing the media in arabic was the icing on the cake.
Does oblamer really believe we like this stuff? Or is he so beyond caring that he’s just glad to give us another Foxtrot Uniform?

Tulsa Chipotle Restaurant Kicks Out Annoying Liberals for Whining About Guns
David Risselada, Tulsa, Oklahoma – Oklahoma Open Carry had received word that MDA was going to go to the local Chipotle’s for lunch, so they decided to meet them there. Chipotle restaurants in Oklahoma have officially taken the position that they would rather see people leave their guns at home, but they won’t ask you to leave if you don’t; after all, in Oklahoma it is legal to openly carry, so they at least respect the law and your rights.

Moms Demand Action on the other hand, seemed to be demanding a little much on this Saturday afternoon as they approached management and asked them to throw OKOCA members out of the restaurant because they were “offended” by the presence of guns.

The next time you get held up,call Moms Demand Action….they’ll defend you.

    Special Report: The Obama Paradox
There was a time in the first term when aides fretted over elaborate state dinners and how a glitzy Halloween party for the children of military service members, featuring actor Johnny Depp and movie director Tim Burton, would play with jobless Americans. Now, settled into the second term, the Obamas are less concerned about the optics of mingling with boldfaced names, and seem to want to take advantage of the presidential perch.
Party, travel the world at taxpayer expense and still manage to crush the nations economy underfoot.Busy boy.

Ex-Officer Convicted of Killing Beloved ‘Big Boy’ Elk

A former police officer accused of killing “Big Boy” — a huge elk beloved by a Colorado community — was convicted Tuesday of all nine counts against him.

A jury in Boulder County found Sam Carter guilty of illegal taking of big game, attempting to influence a public official, forgery and tampering with evidence, among other charges, said Boulder County prosecutor Stanley Garnett.

The elk’s death and Carter’s arrest had sparked outrage in Boulder, along with marches and prayer vigils.

“I saw him almost every day for three years,” Mary Lee Withers of Boulder told NBC News. “It was the highlight of my walk with my dog.”

Withers, who runs PC’s Pantry for Dogs and Cats, a Boulder pet store, said she’s raising money for a memorial sandstone bench to be placed near the site where Big Boy died.

    • No, but this has happened a few times. People who shoot tame big game inside town limits aren’t regarded too highly around here. The last one was a big bull elk named Samson in Estes Park. Some idiot just couldn’t help himself and shot him in the Safeway parking lot or some such thing.

Last of Original Group of Navajo Code Talkers Dies
The last of the 29 Navajos who developed a code that stumped the Japanese during World War II has died.

Chester Nez, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died Wednesday morning of kidney failure, said Judy Avila, who helped Nez write his memoirs. He was 93.
Every time I read about another of the precious souls who gave so much to keep the world from being subjected to tyranny I get choked up.We will never see their like again.
They were from a time when the nation pulled together as one for victory.Sadly, today too many are only concerned with their own easy lifestyle. They would sacrifice nothing if inconvenient.

  8. I don’t know why she’s not already President.

  9. Stole this from you over at PN, Pete.

No problem;I think I had some good ones today.Did you see the ‘Saving Private Bergdahl’ Mad Magazine spoof the Mindful and Red Pill posted on yesterdays blog? Its hilarious.

      • Pistol Pete says: bad.Red posted it here yesterday. He’s a hard man to keep up with.

        • Yeah, you gotta watch that Red. He’s sneaky. 😉

Hey Pete! Since you repost some of your stuff over here, would you like to have photo-posting privileges? We could make you an “author,” and I think that would do the trick. Anybody object? I think a lot of us cross-post between 4gfc and PN, anyway, like Red and you and Bob and me and Zoph.

          • Pistol Pete says:

I’d be honored.I don’t have the skills that you,GFC,Red,Mindful or BoB has.I’m not even on the same planet. All I can manage is to copy and paste and come up with some goofiness once in awhile.

            • That would be most appreciated, Pete. You have a way with coming up with choice material. I’ll see if there are any objections and I’ll send you an invite! Thanks!

            • Give me a break Pete! My comp skills are grossly inadequate. LOL. It is difficult enough to just try and write/type whats in my head into some tangible legible muck! if only……..

      • Oh, definitely. Great stuff. Did you see Earl’s just today?

  11. Knight4GFC says:

A good read related to the article Texan posted some days ago about the “pupule” idea of having two separate governments for two separate races in Hawaii.

“The executive branch is using the construct of a native tribe to attempt an end-run around both the Supreme Court and Congress. In 2000, the Supreme Court ruled in the landmark Rice v. Cayetano case that Native Hawaiian is an ethnicity (like, for example, Portuguese or Hispanic) and not a tribal or political category. Congress, from 2000 to 2012, rejected all attempts through the numerous versions of the Akaka Bill to redefine ethnic Hawaiians as a political tribe with a “government to government” relationship to the United States. That having failed, in 2012 the executive branch, through the Department of the Interior, began laying the groundwork for administrative rules to officially recognize a Native Hawaiian tribal government, again, something which does not exist. That effort coincided with the passage in the same year of the State of Hawaii’s Act 195 which established the Native Hawaiian Roll within the Office of Hawaiian Affairs for creating a roll of racially Hawaiian citizens (i.e., tribe members)…

…So, to what end does the executive branch labor? Who benefits from the redefining of ethnic Hawaiians as a tribe for purposes of federal recognition? Ultimately, it may come back to the tried-and-true motivations of money and power — at least among “tribal” leaders and the political and corporate elite in Hawaii who, with their national counterparts, have dominated Native Hawaiian politics for decades. It is likely that any Native Hawaiian government entity would be able to lay claim to sizeable land holdings and revenues — and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs has been working to expand its role and powers as a developer.

In a broader sense, however, a larger beneficiary may be those who traffic in racial identity politics. The legal reverses suffered in recent years would be wiped away by a philosophy that raises racial identity to the level of sovereign nationhood. Not only would this open the door to other groups to petition for special legal status based on their standing as a racial community, but it would force a reconsideration of how far the equal protection of the Constitution can actually reach.”

“But is it the speech with the Basmallah, the beard and the trimmed mustache, the testimonies from his colleagues on his desertion, that confirm our suspicion that these men are Jihadi converts?

What no one in the media captured was Robert Bowe Bergdahl’s favorites on his Youtube account.

It reveals a dark mind, a collector of a litany of ‘terrorist favorites’, videos from training on how to become Muslim Jihadist to urging American troops to desert and even favorite speeches by confirmed terrorists like Shaykh Anwar al-Awlaki, condemning America as a terrorist state…”
