I just got into a heated argument about the Constitution with a very hard-headed liberal. This person told me that Thomas Jefferson and the rest of the Founding Fathers intended for the Constitution to be a “living document” so that it could change with the times. According the liberal, this “fact” is written by Thomas Jefferson somewhere… When I asked this person to find it for me, I was told it was in the Federalist Papers!!! AHHHH!!!! This liberal claims to be an “expert” on all things historical, yet gets just about everything wrong. Of course, I’ve been told that I’ve been “brain-washed” by the right-wingers and that she would love to read the the books that I’m reading because they are all wrong.

    OMG!! I’m. Completely. Speechless.

I wonder if she loves Common Core….

    • Problem is, they take the fact that the Constitution can be amended, and use that to claim they can annihilate the Bill of Rights, which were established to be immutable. Just ask her why she wants to change the BofR and take rights away from the PEOPLE. Is she ANTI-PEOPLE???

I was back east in May. Daughter and I went to visit Monticello and Montpelier. The tour guide referred to the Constitution as a “living document” and called the founders progressives. Montpelier was well worth a visit, but James Madison must have been rolling in his grave.

The family and I just visited Monticello two weeks ago. Fortunately, for my blood pressure, we took the Family Friendly tour geared toward young children. I am not surprised by the comments from the tour guide. Charlottesville is a liberal cesspool, beautiful area though.

Chris McDaniel lost his U.S. Senate primary contest to Thad Cochran for one reason and one reason alone: GOP elites tagged their own base as racists, and spent a lot of Republican money to convince African-American voters that a vote for Chris McDaniel was virtually a vote for the KKK.

  12. Knight4GFC says:

Although church liberals love to insist their policies appeal to the rising generation, all of the available evidence indicates just the opposite. Liberalizing churches don’t attract young people, who, even if themselves liberal, tend to flock to churches they respect for not pandering to them. The same is true for racial minorities, who largely avoid liberal Mainline Protestantism in favor of ethnic or Evangelical churches.

Washington, D.C.—Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled “buffer zones” around abortion clinics are unconstitutional. The unanimous decision prohibits states and localities from banning crisis pregnancy counselors from offering help to hurting women entering an abortion clinic. The court overturned the Massachusetts district court and the First Circuit Court of Appeals, which found that the law did not violate the First Amendment.

In the email, obtained by Government Executive, Deputy Regional Administrator Howard Cantor mentioned “several incidents” in the building, including clogging the toilets with paper towels and “an individual placing feces in the hallway” outside the restroom.

Confounded by what to make of this occurrence, EPA management “consulted” with workplace violence “national expert” John Nicoletti, who said that hallway feces is in fact a health and safety risk. He added the behavior was “very dangerous” and the individuals responsible would “probably escalate” their actions.

A report in the Telegraph (U.K.) for June 21 stated that Christian militia members have entrenched themselves in the Christian settlement of Bartella, 10 miles from Mosul. The Telegraph interviewed a man identified as Captain Firaz Jacob, who, with a small band of 600 militia volunteers, were entrenched. Their militia was backed up by KRG troops sent from the city of Erbil, an hour’s drive away. “I stand here waiting for my destiny,” Jacob said.

When asked why he and his men were refusing to give up and go, Jacob said was determined to resist the ISIS jihadists and their allies, who had overrun most of the rest of northern Iraq. “We will stay here despite everything,” said Jacob. “All these armed groups we have seen, but nevertheless we will remain. We love our Christian way of life, we love our churches and we love our community.”

“After America comes North America,” Petraeus said confidently in answering the question about what comes after the United States, the theme of the panel discussion. “Are we on the threshold of the North American decade, question mark? I threw that away — threw away the question mark — and boldly proclaimed the coming North American decade, says the title now.” He also boasted about how the three economies have been put “together” over the last 20 years as part of the “implementation” of the North American Free Trade Act.

The “highly integrated” forces of Canada, the United States, and Mexico, Petraeus continued, will become the world’s powerhouse for energy and science. “There are four revolutions that are ongoing at various levels in each of the countries but foremost in the United States,” said the former CIA chief, who now serves as chairman of the KKR Global Institute. “The energy revolution is the first of those, which has created the biggest change in geopolitics since the rise of China since 1978.” The other “revolutions” include IT, manufacturing, and life sciences, which, “as highly integrated as they are, allow you to argue that after America comes North America,” he added.

Tea Party Leader Arrested in Connection with Photographing of Cochran’s Wife Commits Suicide

“Persecuted is a wonderful House of Cards type political thriller that imagines what would happen if the country’s most famous religious leader refused to go along with the politicians in Washington and the mayhem that ensues.” – Fred Thompson
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., April 2, 2014 – One Media LLC announces Millennium Entertainment will release the political thriller PERSECUTED nationally on July 18, 2014.

Advance screening events have already begun a word of mouth buzz for the film which been called a “timely thriller” by FOX News and a “House of Cards for the religious set” by Politico. The Hollywood Reporter noted the film’s “ripped from the headlines” plot and pairs a veteran of Washington and Hollywood, actor and former presidential candidate Fred Thompson with an all-star cast of Hollywood’s finest, including Dean Stockwell, James Remar and Bruce Davison.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Millennium Entertainment to distribute Persecuted to a wide audience,” said writer, director and producer Daniel Lusko. “We’re seeing this film create a stir months ahead of release which portends for a great opening.”
PERSECUTED tells the story of a modern-day evangelist named John Luther, played by SAG Award-nominated and Saturn Award winning actor James Remar (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, “Dexter”, DJANGO: UNCHAINED, WHAT LIES BENEATH, RED). Luther is the last hold out for a national endorsement to make sweeping reform in freedom of speech that would compel religious leaders to provide equal time to those of other faiths as a U.S. Senator, portrayed by Oscar-nominated actor Bruce Davison (X-MEN, “Lost”, “Castle”), and his political allies create a sinister plan of denial and scandal to frame John Luther for murder. Suddenly his once normal life is turned upside down as he becomes a fugitive vowing to expose those responsible. It is a mission that brings him face-to-face with the coming storm of persecution that will threaten the moral ethics and freedoms of America.
Producing with Lusko is Oscar-winning producer Gray Frederickson (THE GODFATHER, APOCALYPSE NOW), along with Line Producer Brent Morris (MONSTER, FRANK, and UNKNOWN.)
PERSECUTED cast includes Dean Stockwell (AIR FORCE ONE, THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE, STAR TREK), Fred Thompson (“Law & Order”, DIE HARD 2, HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER), Brad Stine (recognized as “God’s Comic” by The New Yorker, social commentator on Fox & Friends, MARRIAGE RETREAT) Raoul Trujillo (APOCOLYPTO, COWBOYS AND ALIENS, THE NEW WORLD), Natalie Grant (five-time Dove Award-winning singer and songwriter) and Gretchen Carlson (Fox News Channel). The film is a SAG-AFTRA production of an original political drama by Lusko.

The film wrapped principle photography on August 6, 2013 and was shot in and around the Albuquerque, New Mexico area.
