Karma baby. There is a BP checkpoint north out of McAllen. Last time I went through in June, they listed 15,994 illegals had been detained at that checkpoint. Wonder what it will say next time I go through. 😆

GOP Establisment: Congress Should Give Obama ‘Blank Check’ to Address Border Crisis
Hmmph. Most election years they have to at least pretend to be conservative to get reelected.I guess now they figure they can crush the conservative movement by renting black votes.

YOU HAVE TO READ THIS TO BELIEVE IT.
THE JUDGE CHOSEN TO PRESIDE OVER THE BENGHAZI TRIAL HAS ONLY BEEN ON THE BENCH A FEW MONTHS.
Once you read what his connections to the regime are, you’ll see why. This is a straight setup.
The killer will claim it was a protest over a video nobody saw and Cooper will dismiss the charges.
Cooper, 47, was part of the Obama administration’s transition team and is one of the more connected people in D.C. legal circles, Marimow notes. His wife, Amy Jeffress, worked at the Justice Department as a national security adviser to the attorney general.
When Cooper was an undergraduate at Yale, his roommate and close friend was John Rice, whose sister is now President Obama’s national security adviser. Susan Rice’s controversial television appearances in the days after the Benghazi attacks helped fuel criticism that the Obama administration was trying to play down suspicions of terrorist involvement in the assault that killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans.

‘I,’ ‘Me,’ ‘My’—Obama Uses First Person Singular 199 Times in Speech Vowing Unilateral Action
Not counting instances when he quoted a letter from a citizen or cited dialogue from a movie, President Barack Obama used the first person singular–including the pronouns “I” and “me” and the adjective “my”–199 times in a speech he delivered Thursday vowing to use unilateral executive action to achieve his policy goals that Congress would not enact through the normal, constitutional legislative process.

  5. What A Hoot says:

Was in Denver for a bit recently. One night Obama was there! Oh joy! Noticed on the local news it mentioned three top Dems would not be attending the fundraiser The O was in town for. A couple of nights later we went to the Brazilian Steakhouse, Fogo de Chao and were told a personal story by the head hostess. She said President Obama was walking alone by the restaurant so she ran out and said hello and brazenly put a card (was unsure if her personal card or the restaurant’s) in his top pocket. The prez’s reaction? “You aren’t slipping me your telephone number are you?” The fan commented that it must have drove the secret service nuts the way he was casually walking down the street and peering into places and that she put something in his pocket.

Hmmmmmm. How the hell, with the Secret Service, does a citizen be able to run out a buliding and up to the president and then touch him? I asked questions to get an idea how spontaneous this really was and it appeared, according to my radar, to be a genuine spontaneous moment by this lady. But I have been duped a time or two in my life. The few in the restaurant listening to her story were bored and did not engage her in conversation. Two sentences into the story and backs were turned to her. It made my queries and efforts to get her to talk more look like I was an Obot. Surreal.

    • That whole episode was pretty surreal. Seemed like he was just here to play pool with Hickenlooper and glad-hand people downtown. Like he’s still campaigning.

Hoot, you were in Denver, and you didn’t tell us! Shame! We could have hit the bars downtown! Maybe got arrested for badmouthing the RCOTUS! Coulda been fun. 😉

      • What A Hoot says:

Boy, we’re we in Denver! How did I miss you are there? We went up to Mt. Evans, did Renaissance Festival, white water rafting, did some artsy glass stuff, amusement park, gold mine, with base of operation an apartment downtown with rooftop pool. We ate a lot but skipped the drinking holes as was family vacation. Really, you all in Denver? Dh and I did the bars downtown back in April. Sadly we most likely won’t go back as those we visit are moving on.

        • Uh huh. Likely story. 😀

We’re absolutely in Denver and are open to any visits. Except for Coyote and Tex. They both blew me off last time I was in Houston, and I had to drink alone. I’m still a little rankled about that. 😉

We’re actually south of Denver, closer to Castle Rock, but that’s where the Renaissance Faire is, right? Next time, drop by! Always welcome!

Disagree with somebody’s parenting? Call the cops and have them arrested and their kids become wards of the state. That’ll show ’em. People actually think they have choices!
