2 Timothy 1:13-14

“[Be Loyal to the Faith] Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.”

  1. Rhett E. Column, #SayWhatNews, #AXJ says:

    Amen! Good afternoon friend. Thank you for this blessed word. It is received. Be well.

  2. Romans 3:9-10 (Same guy: Paul)
    What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin. As it is written:
    “There is no one righteous, not even one;”

    Romans 3:27
    Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith.

    Mark 16:15
    He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

    Sirach 1:22-24 (Original Canon of the Bible. You won’t find Sirach in Protestant Bibles, only Orthodox ones. FYI.)
    Unjust anger can never be justified;
    anger pulls a person to utter ruin.
    23
    Until the right time, the patient remain calm,
    then cheerfulness comes back to them.
    24
    Until the right time they hold back their words;
    then the lips of many will tell of their good sense.

    Sirach 2:13
    Woe to the faint of heart! For they do not trust,
    and therefore have no shelter!

    Sirach 3:17-24
    My son, conduct your affairs with humility,
    and you will be loved more than a giver of gifts.
    18
    Humble yourself the more, the greater you are,
    and you will find mercy in the sight of God.
    20
    For great is the power of the Lord;
    by the humble he is glorified.
    21
    What is too sublime for you, do not seek;
    do not reach into things that are hidden from you.
    22
    What is committed to you, pay heed to;
    what is hidden is not your concern.
    23
    In matters that are beyond you do not meddle,
    when you have been shown more than you can understand.
    24
    Indeed, many are the conceits of human beings;
    evil imaginations lead them astray.
