    • That’s pretty ingenious. Sounds like Pahoa is going to have a new sculpture in the middle of town when this flow stops. Hopefully, most of the town will be all right and they’ll be able to dig out the highway. Hopefully!

        I guess when you live the “HI” life, you might see this kind of ingenuity whenever a lava flow rolls through. We’ll see how it all turns out. There is still quite a ways to go I believe.

        Yeah, really! “Red tape” and political correctness complicates everything. Nowadays, unfortunately, you also have to worry about lawsuits from every side if you make one wrong move… like diverting the lava flow.
